Wrangler JK transfer case making a racket after a weekend in the dunes, need a good shop

Took my 2015 Wrangler Unlimited out to Al Faya last weekend with a few friends and got a little too enthusiastic on a climb, nothing crazy just a bit of wheel spin in the soft stuff and then this horrible metallic grinding noise started when I tried to shift back into 2WD on the flat, and now every time I put it in four high there’s this chain slapping sound that makes me want to park it and pretend I didn’t hear it, but the thing is my daily driver so ignoring it isn’t really an option and I’ve already had one quote from a generic garage that told me I need a whole new transfer case without even opening it up which feels like they’re just throwing the parts cannon at it because they don’t want to deal with the NV241 internals. I’ve heard these things can sometimes just be a stretched chain or a worn fork pad and a proper rebuild is way cheaper than a full replacement, so I’m trying to track down someone who actually knows Jeep Transfer Case Repair Sharjah and won’t just shrug and tell me to find a used unit from Sajaa because I’d rather fix this one properly and maybe throw in a SYE while it’s apart since I’m running a small lift anyway. Anyone on here had their transfer case rebuilt locally by someone who actually knows Jeeps and doesn’t treat it like a Corolla, I’m not looking for miracles just someone honest who will open it up and tell me what’s actually broken before they start ordering parts.
