New generation journalists is leading the charge to revitalize local news coverage and mitigate threats to democracy. Our goal is to find unprecedented resources for bolstering proven solutions while eliminating longstanding inequities in the coverage of journalism and its practice.

Students and recent graduates presented an Austin Harvest produce market at its permanent location this week, providing artistic and social interaction to an area previously known for gun violence. The WBEZ's Jackie Kostek visited to speak to its founders who describe their mission not just as providing food, but rather creating a more welcoming culture as part of their goal.
